[NOTE: I wrote this episode on my departure from Mayberry after what turned into a 3 day stay. Let me tell you in the fewest words possible....like they say...'eating speaks louder than words'....and, there were fresh flowers in my room everyday. Aunt Bee's humming, 2 guitars strumming after evening meals, voices harmonizing on the porch...and yes..a brown paperbag full of sandwiches on departure.
Within a few weeks I was back.....to stay. I opened my old house back up, and with the help of friends of the past...settled in right quick....]
